Fiona Kane

From an early age, I was drawn to art; quite literally.

Art quickly became my passion and main focus throughout school. Confident that my future lay in the creative arts, I went on to study graphic design in Glasgow after finishing school.

But life, as it often does, took me in a completely different direction.

But I’ve always returned to art whenever I could—sometimes purely for joy, other times for friends and family. Now I finally have the freedom to fully embrace my love for drawing and painting, inspired by the beautiful walks and natural surroundings nearby. I am never without my sketchbook and paints and on a sunny day, my easel too.

I’m particularly fascinated by the interplay of light—how it transforms both nature and everyday objects. I seek out those fleeting moments where light, time, and place come together to create something that is quietly out of the ordinary.
